STEM STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

ABOUT STEM SSS

The WSU STEM Student Support Services (STEM SSS) program is an initiative of the Office of Academic Engagement, funded by the US Department of Education. We work closely with the College of Arts and Sciences to support increased engagement, persistence, and graduation for our Cougs who are pursuing degrees in STEM and Health Sciences.

Eligible students are those from low-income households, first generation backgrounds, and/or those with disabilities. STEM SSS provides a supportive community, personalized advising, academic development, peer and faculty mentoring, emergency grant aid and financial wellness, and many other means of support to ensure students are successful during and after their time in college.
