Connecting to the Shared Drive

ERG 850.02

OAE Shared Drive

The Shared Drive or S Drive is electronic storage on the WSU network maintained by DAESA IT.  Access is limited in OAE to the executive director, unit directors, finance and administrative manager, and project specialists.

Shared Drive Use

The S Dive has greater security and backup provisions than other electronic storage systems at WSU.  It is, however, more difficult to access and does not allow for collaborative document editing.  OAE, therefore, uses the S Drive to store documents of a sensitive or business-critical nature that do not need to be shared with the other OAE personnel.
