On the final day of the WSU-hosted Summer Undergraduate Research program, about 80 students from 50 universities, including WSU, will share their mentored summer research results at a poster event.  The students worked in projects across many STEM disciplines. Host of the symposium is the Office of Undergraduate Research.

The third cohort of Core to Career faculty fellows will meet to kickoff their fall workshops. Each member will learn about and incorporate into their courses some career-readiness skills, helping prepare students to better meet employers' desired competencies for new hires.

The Academic Success and Career Center (ASCC) will host all undecided/exploring students at Academic College Kickoffs that aim to continue developing the relationships between new first-year students and WSU's academic colleges. While this event is geared toward first-year students, all are welcome.

Students can visit with employers from dozens of industries at this two-day fall event, with Mon. Oct. 2 being virtual, and Tues. Oct. 3  being in-person. TEACHxWSU 2023 will feature discussions on the WSU Teaching Academy Book Club book, Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education: Strategies for Teaching, edited by University of Cincinnati Blue Ash professors Rita Kumar and Brenda Refaei. The annual Distinguished Scholarships Celebration recognizes every recipient of prestigious, nationally competitive awards from the past year. Students and alumni who have received such awards of Fulbright U.S. Student, Goldwater, Udall, Gilman, and other awards are recognized at the event, along with their mentors.
