LAUNCHNW AT WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY

Washington State University’s Office of Academic Engagement partners with LaunchNW to provide coordinated support for students as they prepare for, transition to, and succeed at WSU.

LaunchNW is a regional initiative of Innovia Foundation that helps students access higher education through individualized coaching, college planning, financial aid guidance, and scholarship support. By embedding a dedicated College Navigator within the Office of Academic Engagement, WSU and LaunchNW provide students with consistent guidance from high school through college graduation.

The LaunchNW College Navigator serves prospective and current WSU students by providing individualized support throughout the college journey.

Services include:

  • College planning and transition support
  • FAFSA and financial aid guidance
  • Scholarship assistance
  • Academic planning and referrals
  • Connections to campus resources and student support services
  • Ongoing coaching that supports persistence and degree completion

The College Navigator works closely with students to connect them with the people, programs, and services that best meet their needs, helping students understand, access, and navigate the many support services available across Washington State University.

SUPPORTING STUDENT SUCCESS

As part of the Office of Academic Engagement, the College Navigator helps students build meaningful connections with campus resources from the moment they begin considering WSU through graduation. Students are connected with academic, financial, and personal support services across the university, including programs within OAE, Enrollment Management, and Student Affairs.

The LaunchNW partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding educational opportunity and supporting student success, particularly for students who are first generation, from rural communities, have financial need, or have experienced barriers to higher education.
